Alliance of Progressive Labor (Philippines)
A "national labor center". Consistent with its belief in social movement unionism, APL has built itself as a "multi-form center", drawing into its fold various forms of labor organizations and not just trade unions. In the future, APL sees itself as a singular union structure consolidated along industry and geographical lines.

Solidar
An independent international alliance of non-governmental organizations that are historically linked to the free and democratic labor and trade union movement.

IFWEA
An international organization of trade union and labor support organization educationists that attempts to improve the quality and relevance of education work in the labor movement.

World Social Forum
An open meeting place where groups and movements of civil society opposed to neo-liberalism and a world dominated by capital or by any form of imperialism, but engaged in building a planetary society centered on the human person, come together to pursue their thinking, to debate ideas democratically, for formulate proposals, share their experiences freely and network for effective action.

Global Network-Latin America
An alliance of trade unions and labor NGOs based in Peru, Latin America. It is composed of the following organizations: Plades of Peru, Labor of Bolivia, Serpaj of Ecuador, CUT of Brazil, Mujer y Trabajo of Chile, and Infos of Republica Dominicana.

European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC)
ITUC was established in 1973 to provide a trade union counterbalance to the economic forces of European integration. The ETUC has in its membership 76 National Trade Union Confederations from a total of 35 European countries, as well as 11 European industry federations, making a total of 60 million members.

International Labour Organization (ILO)
ILO is the UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. It was founded in 1919 and is the only surviving major creation of the Treaty of Versailles which brought the League of Nations into being and it became the first specialized agency of the UN in 1946.

International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Tobacco and Allied Workers' Associations (IUF)
IUF is an international federation of trade unions representing workers employed in agriculture and plantations; the preparation and manufacture of food and beverages; hotels, restaurants and catering services; and all stages of tobacco processing. The IUF is currently composed of 336 trade unions in 120 countries representing a combined membership of over 12 million workers.It is based in Geneva, Switzerland.

International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU)
ICFTU is a Confederation of national trade union centres, each of which links together the trade unions of that particular country. ICFTU was set up in 1949 and has 231 affiliated organizations in 150 countries and territories on all five continents, with a membership of 158 million. It has three major regional organizations, APRO for Asia and the Pacific, AFRO for Africa, and ORIT for the Americas.

International Metalworkers' Federation (IMF)
IMF is a federation of national unions - a union of unions - in the metal industry at world level. The international union represents the collective interests of almost 24.8 million metalworkers in 207 unions in 101 countries.

Public Services International (PSI)
The international trade union federation PSI, unites public sector workers in more than 600 trade unions in over 140 countries.

International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions (ICEM)
ICEM is a rapidly growing industry-based world labour federation dedicated to practical solidarity.

UP Third World Studies Center (TWSC)
TWSC is an academic research institution based at the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of the Philippines.

Thai Labour Campaign
This Thai organization run non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to promoting workers' rights in Thailand and increasing awareness of labour issues globally.

Global Network-Hong Kong
This is a grassroots alliance of trade unions, cooperatives and NGOs in Hong Kong committed in addressing globalization issues. Global Network-HK is part of the Global Network-Asia.
